Authentication Failed error when attempting to sign into relay®
When you receive this error message when attempting to sign into your relay® account it indicates that either the username and/or password entered were incorrect.
Step 1:
Check to see if your CAPS LOCK or NUM LOCK options on your keyboard are not on. Your password is case sensitive and this would result in your password being rejected.
Note: In accordance with our security requirements, passwords will always be at least 8 characters and will contain at least one capital letter, one lowercase letter, and one number.
Step 2:
If you have forgotten your username or password you may use the "Forgot Username" or "Forgot Password" links located on your site's sign in page. You will be asked to enter your name, e-mail address or other information as it appears on your relay® account profile. The system will then send you an e-mail for you to recover or reset the requested login information.
If you have tried to log in more than 7 times without success, relay® automatically locks your account for your own protection. If this happens, please contact your site administrator to request they unlock your account. If you are the site administrator you may contact relay® support for assistance in unlocking the account.
