You may be able to delete a transaction from your account, providing your site administrator has given you access to this feature. This action is permanent and once a transaction is deleted it cannot be recovered. If you wish to keep a copy of the transaction for your records you will need to create a transaction CD for the file prior to deleting it.
Step 1:
Open the transaction that you wish to delete and click on the Delete Transaction button located on the Coversheet.
Note: If you do not have this button then it would indicate that you have not been given access to this feature. You can contact your site administrator to ask they enable this for you or you may change the file status to inactive instead.
Step 2:
Review to ensure you are removing the correct transaction and then confirm the action by clicking Delete again.
Step 3:
You will receive a confirmation message that the delete was successful. Click OK to return to your transaction page.
Step 4:
You can also delete multiple transactions at once using the options on the transaction/home page. Simply place a check mark next to each transaction you wish to remove and click on the Delete button at the bottom of the list.
The confirmation page will list the transactions you have selected and will also tell you if you have selected any transactions that you are unable to delete. Review to ensure you have selected the appropriate files and then click Delete to confirm.
You can only delete a transaction if you have full access to the owners side of the transaction. If you have only limited access to the owners side you will not have the option to delete the transaction.
If the transaction is a cross-site transaction, meaning the invited agent on the other side is from a different relay site ID, then the transaction cannot be deleted.
