How to attach documents or placeholders to an activity
If you have a document that corresponds with one of your activities, you can attach that document or a placeholder to the activity right from your checklist.
Step 1:
Open your transaction and click on the Checklist tab.
Step 2:
Hover your mouse over the Attach Document icon next to the activity that you wish to attach the document to.
Step 3:
From the selection box that appears, chose which type of document you wish to attach.
Placeholder will create a space for a document that will be added to your transaction at a later time.
New Document will allow you to upload a document from your computer.
Existing Document will allow to select from your existing relay® documents to associate them with the activity.
Step 4:
If you chose Placeholder you will need to enter a name for the document, select any desired optional settings, then click save.
If you chose New Document you will need to click browse to select your document, add a description for the document name, select any desired optional settings, then click save.
If you chose Existing Document, place a check mark next to the desired document(s) then click attach.
Step 5:
Your documents will now be attached to the activity and can be viewed by clicking the View Attached Documents icon next to the activity name. The documents will also appear under the documents tab as well.
