The registration process requires a connection to the Internet

When attempting to register or renew ZipForm®Desktop, the following error occurs:

This error is caused by one of the following:
- You are not connected to the Internet
- You have a firewall installed on your computer that is blocking the process
Please Note:
The Microsoft® Windows® Firewall does NOT affect our software. While registering or renewing ZipForm®Desktop, registration.exe will attempt to access information on our servers. If your firewall prompts you, Permit or Allow should be selected. Selecting Block will result in this error.
Step 1:
You will need to determine which firewall you have installed on your computer. Check the system tray in the bottom right corner of the screen next to the time:

Once you determine which firewall you use, you may select it from the menu below for detailed instructions on allowing ZipForm®Desktop access to the Internet.
Select the firewall you use from the list:
